Evacuation advisories in Japan have been issued for more than a million people and cancelled hundreds of flights as Typhoon Jebi sliced across the west, killing at least six people. Jebi is reportedly the strongest typhoon to hit Japan in 25 years, with winds of up to 180km/h, and is the latest storm to hit this summer. Al Jazeera's Emma Hayward reports.
